This weekend my family enjoyed a "staycation" at the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort at Bonnet Creek, located just outside of Walt Disney World.
We chose this property because it has 5 pools and 2 lazy rivers!
(The property includes the main hotel and several time share buildings, all located around a lake. Each building has its own pool. Guests can enjoy whichever pool they would like.)
There are many other outdoor activities to enjoy (miniature golf, s'mores, and more!)
A walk around the lake is a must if you are on the property. I suggest a sunset stroll.
We enjoyed the hotel's main pool on Saturday for several hours.
There is a bar and grill poolside. Very convenient! In fact, we had lunch and dinner here.
Several craft beers on tap, as well as frozen drinks!

We arrived at 10am. Our room was ready at 2pm.

And it was a fantastic view! We could see the Epcot fireworks at 9pm.
We selected a room with bunk beds, which the kids loved!
They even had their own tv next to the bunk beds.
King bed was very comfortable!
On Sunday, we went to the pool with the ship slide.
Cabanas were available as well as many lounge chairs.
This was a very fun area. Lots of shade too (especially in the morning).
My son loved the slide. Although no lifeguards are on property, a staff member was stationed at the slide to monitor the line of kids.
Next, we moved over to the lazy river. My kids enjoyed this pool as well!
Overall the property was quiet. The staff was friendly. And, there were many dining options for our family. We had a lovely weekend, and we were sad it went by so quickly!
