Disney Springs offers so many great dining options, and yesterday for lunch I made a visit to
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin'.

Many of you may remember Chef Art Smith from his connection with Oprah Winfrey (he was her personal chef for a number of years). Our waitress told us that Chef Art is a sixth generation Floridian! The dishes offered at the restaurant are "farm to table".
The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor (under cover) seating.
The Bunch of Puppies appetizer included 10 hush puppies with pimento cheese and red jalapeno jelly ($10). I am from Louisiana and grew up on hush puppies. I order whenever I find them. These did not disappoint.
The fried chicken was enough for two since it included four pieces! It was served with mashed potatoes, a side of gravy and a biscuit ($28).
Next door to the restaurant is the Moonshine bar. The restaurant and bar offer a number of Florida craft beers and moonshine. A dessert menu is also available, but I had no room in my tummy!
