My mom is in town so we decided to try Sunday Brunch at The WAVE.
I had been to the restaurant for dinner but never for breakfast/brunch.
We were seated at our reservation time of 10:15am. The restaurant was not too busy.
(My guess is that many folks are already in the parks by mid-morning.)
My mom chose the buffet. There was a variety of pastries (shown below), cold items (fruit, deviled eggs and parfait) and traditional breakfast items (such as eggs, bacon, grits, potatoes, and Eggs Benedict). Coffee, juice and beverages are included in the buffet price ($20 for adults).
And of course Mickey waffles!
I chose the Floridian Eggs Benedict (made with crab meat instead of Canadian bacon!). It came with a side of potatoes. It was delish!
PRO: Quiet, more relaxed dining experience as not as many children since there are no characters.
PRO: Not as expensive as a character buffets but offers all the same great items.
CON: Lighting is limited in the restaurant as there are no windows. (I needed an extra cup of coffee to keep me awake!)
