I recently enjoyed a "girls night out" at the retro-style Splitsville Orlando with my friend and daughter. I haven't bowled in years and forgot how much fun it could be. Plus, the food was great. Let me tell you more...
Splitsville is located in Disney Springs Westside, between the Disney AMC movie theater and the new NBA Experience. I would suggest parking in the Orange Garage.
At the entrance, there is a gift store with plenty of souvenirs.
You can also purchase socks if you forget to bring your own pair.
Splitsville Luxury Lanes at Disney Springs has an impressive 30 bowling lanes -- which can be found both upstairs and downstairs. Guests get access to the lane for two hours which gave us plenty of time to eat and play--and catch up on life (that's code for girl talk). We bowled two full games during our time.
We started with drinks. I decided on the Froze' (a fruity frozen slushy with Rose', strawberry lemonade and vodka). My friend ordered a nice glass of white wine.
My daughter loved the souvenir bowling pin filled with a Blue Raspberry icee.
(Bonus: We were told to bring it back for refills on future visits!)
We were having so much fun bowling that we almost forgot to order our dinner. Fortunately, our waiter came over with some recommendations.
We had heard great things about the fresh rolled sushi and flatbreads, but wanted to try something different. We ordered the Filet Sliders appetizer (for two) and the Loaded Fries (smothered with cheese, bacon, ranch and scallions). I recommend both. The thick slice of beef was perfectly cooked; and the huge onion ring with the horseradish cream added to the flavor. The plates of fries was addictive.

As I said, I had not bowled in a number of years, so I am not about to share my final score with you (haha), but my game did improve as the night continued. Oh..and I ended up with two spares!
TIP: Make sure to check out Splitsville Orlando web site for information about the Early Bird discount, cast member discount, or to book advance dining reservations. It's also a fun spot for birthday parties and group events.
So what did I think? Well I can't wait to go back to the "Ville! I'm dying to try more items on the menu-- like the Spicy Mango Margarita and the Ninja Crunch. I also think it would be a cool place for my son's birthday party in March.
Disclosure: I was provided with complimentary bowling and dining during our time at Splitsville Luxury Lanes, in exchange for my review. All opinions are my own.
