This Summer
Meliá Orlando Celebration, the sought-after destination hotel for families in the
greater Orlando area, has announced plans to open a new restaurant on
property, The Wilson. Owned and operated by In Good
Company Hospitality (IGC), a New York-based
restaurant group that oversees several venues across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and
Queens, The Wilson is set to open in early summer 2022 and will operate all
food and beverage throughout the hotel.

In continuation of its partnership with
IGC Hospitality, The Wilson at Meliá Orlando Celebration will be the second
restaurant Meliá Hotels International has developed alongside the trusted
restaurant group. Having first begun a relationship at INNSiDE by Meliá New York NoMad, IGC Hospitality debuted The Wilson as the hotel’s
signature restaurant in 2018 and is now a popular destination amongst guests
and NYC locals. The Wilson will bring a unique experience to the Florida hotel
and become a great addition to the well-established restaurant scene in
Celebration and the surrounding Orlando area.

Similar to the New York venue, The Wilson
at Meliá Orlando Celebration will focus on its “where the coast meets the curb”
approach to the menu. Fresh, seasonal ingredients from local farmers and
purveyors will highlight the modern and playful interpretations of New American
classics, centered on celebrating classic seafood dishes. Complementing the
food will be an extensive collection of signature cocktails, wine, and craft
beer. The Wilson is inspired by the fabled relationship between a seasoned
fisherman and his beloved bulldog, celebrating true camaraderie.
Along with the debut of The Wilson serving
as the hotel’s signature restaurant, Meliá Orlando Celebration will be
refreshing all food and beverage services and menus across the property. IGC
will also oversee the pool service and room service menus, to reflect a casual,
to-go dining style, along with the hotel’s garden, which is to be transformed
into a scenic Rose Garden. Offering tasty cocktails and small bites, The Wilson
Rose Garden is set to be a floral escape for hotel guests and locals
alike.
