PopStroke opens this Monday, June 13, in Orlando.
PopStroke Orlando features two 18-hole putting courses created by Tiger Woods’ TGR Design company. There’s the Tiger Black Course, which is ideal for families or anyone new to golf; and the Tiger Red Course, which is designed for more experienced putters. (Think Putt Putt for adults -- but no windmills on these two courses.)
PopStroke also features a full service restaurant with an outdoor dining area, an ice cream shop, outdoor gaming and a playground. The venue is open 7 days a week from 9am to midnight. Also, you can order drinks from the app and staff will bring them to you on the course.
I didn't check out the restaurant on my visit but we did grab ice cream before leaving. There were so many yummy flavors, including mint chocolate chip.
The Waterford Lakes location (East Orlando) is the first of several PopStroke complexes planned for the Orlando area. The company will break ground on the Hamlin location in December.
