Crooked Can Brewing Company and Central Florida’s Most Celebrated Food Hall Welcome One and All for Plenty of Food and Family-friendly Fun
Plant Street Market, named Best Food Hall in Central Florida by Orlando magazine, will celebrate its annual Oktoberfest October 14-16 with live music, family-friendly activities, German-inspired dishes, and, of course, plenty of beer.
“Oktoberfest has become an annual tradition that we look forward to sharing with our neighbors here in Winter Garden,” said Andy Sheeter, founding member of Crooked Can Brewing and Plant Street Market. “And this fall, we expect the event to be bigger and better than ever!”
The Schuhplattler Gruppe Alpenrose Dancers kick off the fun on Friday, with the Apple Strudel Oktoberfest Band providing musical entertainment. On Saturday, The Key Tunes headline for the afternoon, while The Brussel Sprouts German Polka Band take the stage later in the evening. The weekend will culminate in the much-beloved and always entertaining Wiener Dog Races on Sunday afternoon, which will benefit Our Cause 4 Paws Rescue. Festival goers can also look forward to stilt walking and face painting at select times during all three days.
Crooked Can Brewery will also have special brews on tap to celebrate the occasion. While its popular Oktoberfest brew will still be available, thirsty patrons can also indulge in a blast from the past: The ever-refreshing Mr. Tractor Kolsch will be available exclusively during the festival, starting at 4 p.m. on Friday.
In addition to beer specials, many of Plant Street Market’s independent food vendors will feature specially-themed dishes, including vegan and gluten-free offerings. Prepare to sample tempting treats such as Curry Wurst & Sauerkraut Empanadas, Pork Schnitzel Sandwiches, Apple Strudel and so much more.

“We take pride in the fact that we offer not only Winter Garden’s best craft brewery, but we also have some of the best and most interesting food around within Plant Street Market,” shared Alan Delahunt, CEO of Crooked Can Brewing Company. “Historic Downtown Winter Garden is truly a special spot, and we look forward to gathering with family and friends to celebrate Oktoberfest in spectacular fashion!”
